Cowpea with ginger juice

In April, Hainan began to usher in summer. In the increasingly hot weather, dishes began to become refreshing. This ginger-juiced cowpea is my usual dish. It does not need much oil and high temperature to cook. The cooked cowpea is dripped with ginger juice mixed with vinegar, sesame oil and flaxseed oil to make a very green and healthy dish.

Food Material List

  • 1 cowpea 350g
  • 2 ginger 25g
  • 3 Aromatic vinegar 25ml
  • 4 Sesame oil 8ML
  • 5 Flax seed oil 8ML

Operational steps

  • 1 Cowpea is washed and cut into small segments about 5 cm. Other materials are weighed and reserved.

  • 2 Cut ginger into fine pieces, add salt, pour 20 ml boiling water, stir evenly, and let stand for a while.

  • 3 Take a boiling pot and boil water. After boiling water, add cowpea and 1 teaspoon of salt. It can help taste slightly and make cowpea bright. Cook cowpeas.

  • 4 The cooked cowpea is fished out and rinsed with cold boiling water to cool it and discharged into the plate.

  • 5 Pour the fragrant oil and vinegar into a ginger bowl, and finally pour the Organic Flaxseed Oil of Glynol into the bowl, stirring evenly.

  • 6 Sprinkle the stirred ginger juice on the cowpea, mix well and serve.
