Orange and Almond Crisps

The aroma of orange peel and crispness of almonds will definitely be a good match.~~~

Food Material List

  • 1 Low-gluten flour 100g
  • 2 butter 75g
  • 3 Almond 50g

Operational steps

  • 1 Melt butter at room temperature, add sugar and beat until volume increases. Add the egg juice and mix it thoroughly with butter. (forgot to take photos!)
  • 2 Orange is rubbed with utensils. Vanilla essence is added to butter egg liquid. Low gluten flour and salt are sifted. Orange peel is added to butter egg liquid together. Knead into dough to avoid excessive mixing.
  • 3 Add almonds to mix well with dough. Wrap it in fresh-keeping paper and put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

  • 4 Take out the dough and put it on the table to make the dough rectangular. Wrap the fresh-keeping paper and put it in the freezer for 2 hours.

  • 5 Cut the frozen dough into small rectangles and bake it in the oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes or so. Bake it golden on the opposite side.

  • 6 The freshly baked biscuits are soft and crisp when they are cooled.

Tips

1. Add butter to eggs in order to mix the raw materials thoroughly and evenly.

2. When kneading dough, avoid excessive, so as to avoid dough gluten.

3. Put dough in refrigerator to refrigerate, which is more conducive to finishing operation.

4. Tidy up the shape of dough is put into the freezer to harden the dough before it can be cut into the shape you want.

5. Biscuits can be arranged into any shape you like and baked at a distance to avoid sticking.
